Description: Captain Stiles was struck and killed by an SUV while directing traffic at a local school. Captain Stiles was wearing a fully reflective safety jacket while directing traffic on State Route 619 outside of the school. Captain Stiles was transported to a nearby hospital where he died a few hours later. Sun glare was a factor in the accident.
