Description: Deputy Sheriff Sanchez was shot as he attempted to take a suspect into custody who had caused a disturbance at a dance. The suspect fatally shot Deputy Sanchez 14 times with a concealed weapon. The suspect pled guilty to second degree manslaughter and was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
