Description: Deputy Marshal Sigemore was shot and killed while transporting a prisoner to Fort Smith, Arkansas to face trail for murder. The prisoner shot Marshal Sigemore while they were resting for the evening with a Winchester rifle. The suspect remained at large for four years before being murdered for a bounty of five-hundred dollars.
