Description: Officer Stepnowski was fatally shot during a foot pursuit of a suspect in an apartment complex. The suspect, a wanted felon from Louisiana, immediately fled the scene when he saw the law enforcement officers. Officer Stepnowski was transferred to the hospital where he died.
