Description: Trooper Shea was severely injured in a single-vehicle crash while responding, with emergency equipment activated, to a motor vehicle crash. Trooper Shea swerved to avoid hitting two pedestrians who were crossing the street and lost control of his cruiser. The cruiser left the roadway, sheared a telephone pole, then rolled over and collided with a tree. Trooper Shea was transported to the hospital where he died.
