Description: Deputy Stockburger and his partner were investigating a suspect breaking into locked vehicles. When approached by officers suspect pulled a hidden pistol from his clothing and shot Deputy Stockberger and his partner. Deputy Stockburger died seven years later as a result of the injuries suffered that day.
