Description: Deputy Sparks responded to back-up Officer J. Morgan who was attempting to arrest an intoxicated man causing a public disturbance. Deputy Sparks was stabbed by the suspect in his left side. Deputy Sparks suffered injuries to his kidney and intestines and died six days later.
