Description: Officer Scott was shot and killed after making a traffic stop on Highway 99 for a speeding violation. While walking back to his cruiser to verify the suspect's identification and registration, the suspect shot Officer Scott in the head. A passing motorist witnessed the incident and called authorities. Officer Scott was pronounced dead at the scene.
