Description: Sheriff Scott died in an automobile crash as he, the Pike County Prosecutor and two Deputy Sheriffs drove from Logan while escorting two burglary suspects back to Huntington. A truck clipped their front bumper which caused the car to swerve then flip over several times. Sheriff Scott died at the scene. The other passengers were injured but survived. The driver of the truck was charged with manslaughter.
