Description: Patrolman Scott ordered a group of rowdy youths to move along. They refused and attacked Patrolman Scott, striking him repeatedly in the head with bricks. Patrolman Scott fell unconscious and was carried to the station by concerned citizens. Patrolman Scott succumbed to his injuries four days later and died of inflammation of the brain. Ten suspects were arrested.
