Description: On January 1, 1934, Patrolman Story was accidentally shot as he and a fellow officer were investigating a trespassing call in a coal yard. As the officers approached a coal pile, the second officer stumbled causing his weapon to discharge and shoot Patrolman Story. Patrolman Story did not fully recover from his injuries and died two years later on November 30, 1936. (Inadvertent fire)
