Description: Officer Swanson was on perimeter guard for a barricade situation where a deranged man was firing shots. Hundreds of officers had the area surrounded. Tear gas was fired into the house and the suspect came running out, firing wildly. A bullet struck Officer Swanson in the forehead, causing his death. The suspect was arrested.
