Description: Sergeant Stein was shot and killed while questioning a mentally deranged suspect. Sergeant Stein and fellow law enforcement officers arrived at the suspect??®s residence and attempted to locate the suspect for questioning. Suddenly, the suspect opened fire on the officers, fatally shooting Sergeant Stein in the head. After a three hour standoff with law enforcement officers, the suspect was shot and killed by the responding law enforcement officers.
