Description: Detective Smith was shot with his own gun while interviewing a homicide suspect at headquarters. During the interview, the suspect became irate and a struggle ensued. The suspect gained control of Detective SmithŸ??s service weapon and shot him four times. Detective Smith died at the scene. The suspect then committed suicide.
