Description: Officer Stinchcomb was sent to a disturbance call on-board a CTS bus. A male on the bus had burned the hair of a passenger. When Officer Stinchcomb tried to remove the man from the bus, the suspect grabbed his revolver and started shooting. Officer Stinchcomb was killed first, then two other passengers were shot and killed. Patrolman Phillips, who was off duty, ran to the bus and was able to disarm and arrest the man, who was sent directly to a mental hospital.
