Description: On May 27, 1906, Policeman Slaymaker arrested two suspects on suspicion of robbery. Policeman Slaymaker was taking his prisoners to the call box when one of the suspects drew a pistol and shot him. Policeman Slaymaker died of his wounds 10 days later.
