Description: Sergeant Investigator Sowders was shot and killed while attempting to serve a warrant. Sergeant Sowders and fellow officers were attempting to serve a drug related warrant at a suspect's residence. The officers had to force entry into the residence due to the suspectŸ??s failure to respond to their instructions. The suspect opened fire on the officers, fatally shooting Sergeant Sowders. The suspect was apprehended.
