Description: Deputy Selby was shot and killed as he and other members of the narcotics unit initiated a drug raid at a home in Frayser, Tennessee. The deputies knocked several times on the door and identified themselves. Moments later shots rang out from inside the home. Deputy Selby was struck under his arm in an area not protected by his vest. He was transported to Regional Medical Center where the bullet had moved to his heart. Detective Selby was pronounced dead moments after arrival.
