Description: Sergeant Sears was on routine traffic patrol in an industrial area near U.S. Route 20 and Interstate 90 when a witness heard several shots and called authorities. Sergeant Sears' body was found next to his patrol unit with his weapon in his holster. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
