Description: Officer Snellenberger and two fellow officers responded to an emergency call where a two-year-old child had been struck by a car. Officer Snellenberger immediately began CPR on the child. After several minutes, the child began to breathe. As medical units prepared to transport the child to the hospital, Officer Snellenberger collapsed. Officer Snellenberger was transported to a local hospital where he had a massive heart attack and died.
