Description: Deputy Scott was killed in a single-car automobile accident while responding to a gang related disturbance call. While responding, Deputy Scott's unmarked patrol car first hit a deer on Highway 31, then veered into oncoming traffic. Deputy Scott's patrol car struck an oncoming truck and burst into flames, killing him instantly.
