Description: Captain Spencer was returning to the station from a law enforcement incident on the Fort McDermitt Indian Reservation, Nevada when he was involved in a traffic accident in rural Churchill, NV. Captain Spencer was ejected from his vehicle and received fatal injuries. His son, Police Officer CreIghton Spencer, also died in the line of duty on March 25, 2001 and his name is located on panel 36-E: 22.
