Description: Officer Sargent caught two suspects attempting to break into a local restaurant. As Officer Sargent placed one suspect under arrest, the second man fled. Officer Sargent gave chase and apprehended the suspect. The suspect pulled out a hunting knife and stabbed Officer Sargent in the stomach. Officer Sargent remained hospitalized until his death two months later.
