Description: Guard Sneed was patrolling the barracks at the Wayne Scott Unit. Two convicts, who were attempting to escape, demanded the keys. As Guard Sneed reached for his pistol, the convicts opened fire and shot him four times. The convicts were captured, found guilty of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
