Description: Patrolman Daniel Scanlan asked Patrolman Sexton a question about his revolver. Patrolman Sexton handed it to him. When Patrolman Scanlan handed the pistol back, it discharged striking Patrolman Sexton below the heart. Patrolman Sexton died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
