Description: Detective Shivers was shot and killed as he and members of the Special Investigations Section were serving a narcotics warrant. After knocking and announcing entry, shots were fired from inside the residence. Detective Shivers was fatally shot and pronounced dead at the scene. The perpetrator barricaded himself in the house before being taken into custody and charged with murder.
