Description: Sergeant Sheppard succumbed to injuries he sustained when he was struck by a vehicle while directing traffic during an industrial fire. Sergeant Sheppard was wearing an orange reflective vest and was holding a safety traffic flashlight when he was struck by a Honda CRV. Sergeant Sheppard received severe head injuries and was transported to a local hospital where died the next morning.
