Description: Parole Officer II Settle was killed in an automobile crash when his state issued vehicle was rear-ended while he was stopped at a red light. Officer Settle was making routine home contacts on probationers at the time of the collision. Officer Settle was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The driver who struck Officer Settle's vehicle was distracted by the radio at the time of the crash.
