Description: Detective St. Clair was fatally shot while pursuing an armed robbery suspect. The suspect shot over his shoulder striking Detective St. Clair who was in his car. Detective St. Clair died two days later. The suspect was later arrested in Santa Ana, California. Detectives Ben Johnston and Sylvester Carmack were also killed in a separate incident while investigating the murder of Detective St. Clair.
