Description: Deputy Sheriff Stamper was shot as he and fellow deputies attempted to arrest an intoxicated suspect who was brandishing two guns. Deputy Stamper died at the scene. Deputies Collins, Baker and Couch were also wounded but survived. The suspect was arrested and charged with murder.
