Description: Sheriff Sunday was questioning a suspect concerning the murder of his brother, Sheriff-elect Dave Ridge. Sheriff Sunday was about to take the suspect into custody when he was shot. The suspect fled but was later captured. He was sentenced to death but the sentence was reduced to 10 years. He escaped after serving three months of his sentence and fled to Texas.
