Description: Deputy Swann and Constable James Jett were shot when they raided an illegal moonshine still and arrested a suspect. As the lawmen escorted the suspect to jail, they were ambushed and shot. The suspect and his accomplice hid the bodies of the lawmen and fled. Both suspects were arrested and charged with murder.
