Description: Chief of Police Sisemore was shot and killed while investigating a noise in a wooded part of town. Chief Sisemore was shot by suspects who were never identified. It is believed the suspects killed Chief Sisemore because of his moonshiner investigations as a U.S. Deputy Marshal.
