Description: Local officers had stopped a suspect for drunken driving in Summerhill, Pennsylvania. When the officers approached the car they noticed the suspect had a handgun. The suspect then led police officers on a pursuit until he crashed into a utility pole. Trooper Sepp had arrived at the scene at the end of the pursuit and was sitting in his patrol car when the man exited his car and opened fire. Trooper Sepp was shot fatally in the head. He was transported to Memorial Medical Center where he died the next day.
