Description: Patrolman Striebich was struck by an automobile and critically injured while directing traffic after a college basketball game. While escorting a group of people across the street, Patrolman Striebich was struck by a vehicle. Patrolman Striebich died eight days later of a fractured skull. The driver of the car was charged with reckless driving.
