Description: Officer Schaefer was shot accidentally by friendly fire during a drug bust. Officer Schaefer was working in plain clothes and had pulled out her service weapon to cover a uniformed officer. Another uniformed officer, who did not recognize Officer Schaefer, shot and killed Officer Schaefer because he believed the other officer's life was in danger.
