Description: Police Officer Sandoval suffered a fatal heart attack during a department training exercise at a shooting range. Officers were involved in a high stress tactical firearms exercise when Officer Sandoval excused himself from the firing range to use the restroom. While en route, Officer Sandoval suddenly collapsed, striking his head on a railroad tie. First aid was immediately rendered and Officer Sandoval was airlifted to a hospital where he died.
