Description: Sheriff Sizemore was fatally shot with his own gun when he attempted to arrest a suspect. Sheriff Sizemore answered a domestic disturbance call where a suspect was threatening two women. Sheriff Sizemore attempted to take the suspect into custody and a struggle ensued. The suspect gained control of the service weapon and shot Sheriff Sizemore three times. The suspect was convicted of first degree murder and sentenced to death.
