Description: Patrolman Spaulding participated in an all night search with fellow officers for a suspect who had murdered his wife with an ax. Once the suspect was located, the officers rushed to capture and arrest him. The suspect was handcuffed and placed into Patrolman Spaulding's patrol unit. As Patrolman Spaulding was removing the handcuffs from the prisoner at the police station, he collapsed and died of a heart attack.
