Description: Detective Schroeder and Detective Augustus Long were shot and killed in the New York Central terminal in Toledo as they attempted to apprehend several men who had just robbed the ticket agent of more than $10,000. Two of the suspects were caught. One suspect was sentenced to death and the other was given a life sentence.
