Description: Deputy Superintendent Sirgo was fatally shot while trying to apprehend a sniper who had already shot two officers seven days prior, Cadet Alfred Harrell and Officer Edwin Hosli, Sr. The sniper killed two more officers, Officer Paul Persigo and Officer Philip Coleman, Sr., before he was killed by police sharpshooters.
