Description: Deputies Sanders and Baker were heading east on route 322 when another car made a left turn directly in front of the cruiser. Attempting to avoid hitting the car, Deputy Baker skidded into another car that was also westbound. The impact through both men outside the cruiser, killing Deputy Sanders instantly. Deputy Baker sustained serious head injuries. The five occupants of the westbound car sustained minor injuries.
