Description: Police Officer Stella was injured on November 1, 2003, while working as a Resource Officer at a local high school. While attempting to break up a fight, Officer Stella injured her neck and shoulder, ruptured several vertebrae and sustained a torn rotator cuff. Officer Stella had several surgeries over a five year period. Officer Stella died on February 3, 2008 as a result of the injuries.
