Description: Officer Swaney and Sergeant McLean responded to a reports of a drive by shooting. When officers arrived they found family members trying to restrain suspect with gun who was in search of the drive by shooter. When Officer Swaney tried to restrain suspect, he was hit several times. Officer Swaney sprayed pepper spray and suspect starting shooting at both Officer Swaney and Sergeant McLean. Officer Swaney was shot and killed. Sergeant McLean was wounded but still able to return fire and kill suspect.
