Description: Officer Samborski was shot and killed with his own gun while conducting an investigation following a traffic stop. Officer Samborski had stopped a juvenile suspect for a traffic violation. When the suspect could not produce a drivers' license, Officer Samborski transported the juvenile to a nearby adult relative's residence. After arriving at the residence a struggle ensued. The juvenile suspect gained possession of Officer Samborski's weapon and fatally shot him.
