Description: Sergeant Scarbrough was killed in an automobile accident on I-94 during a period of snow and icy conditions. While patrolling during the snow storm, the department vehicle he was a passenger in went off the roadway. The vehicle then struck a utility pole in the highway median. Both officers were transported to a local hospital where Sergeant Scarbrough succumbed to his injuries. The second officer survived.
