Description: Deputy Sheriff Schaefer suffered a fatal heart attack while struggling with a 16-year-old female who was under the influence of narcotics and alcohol. Deputy Schaefer and another deputy responded to a domestic disturbance involving a fight between the girl and another family member. While struggling with one of the suspects, Deputy Schaefer fell unresponsive. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
