Description: Officer Sloan was shot and killed while conducting a narcotics operation. He and several plainclothes officers were making drug deals as part of the Federal Weed and Seed program. After witnessing a drug deal, Officer Sloan and another Officer attempted to arrest a suspect. The suspect grabbed Officer Sloan's service weapon and fatally shot Officer Sloan in the head with his own gun. His partner, although wounded, returned fire and killed the suspect.
