Description: Sergeant Sheehan and Patrolman Ralph responded to a burglary call on Clark Avenue and chased two men into the darkness. Several shots rang out and Sergeant Sheehan was found with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Sergeant Sheehan died at the scene. Six suspects were arrested in connection with the crime but none were convicted with Sergeant Sheehan's murder.
