Description: Sergeant Starzyck was shot and killed while responding to a restraining order violation at a hair salon. The salon owner's estranged husband broke the front window of the salon, entered with a gun looking for his wife, and then fled to an apartment complex nearby. Sergeant Starzyck and other officers arrived to hear shots fired at a nearby apartment complex. Sergeant Starzyck was shot twice during a gun battle with the suspect. The suspect was shot and killed by police.
